Libertad VCF have called a protest for Saturday 23 May, leaving Plaza del Ayuntamiento at 17:00 and reaching Mestalla around 19:00. Organisers say it will denounce Peter Lim’s management and his local allies, with general director Javier Solís named.

According to Superdeporte, the call followed the match in Anoeta. Fans have mobilised online via Libertad VCF and groups such as 'úvaM', 'It must be love', 'Col·lectiu de Penyes' and 'Espíritu del 86', opposing what they term Meriton in Singapore and in Valencia, a label for Peter Lim, his son as club president, and local executives.

José Ponce, a Libertad VCF member and collector, has posted a video to spur turnout. He says if 800,000 celebrate titles, the same number should show up when the club is unwell, adding that Saturday is the moment.

The clip opens with a cut from 'Tardor', then shows Ponce burying the 1979 Senyera, Ressy brand, beside a miniature of that year’s cup. It is framed as a metaphor for more than a decade of Meriton-era anguish.

Later, a grandfather and child visit an imagined empty plot where Mestalla once stood. The boy, wearing the current Senyera, asks why Valencia CF was allowed to die. The video ends with march details and a challenge to fans.

Valencia, coached by Carlos Corberán, conclude LaLiga at Mestalla against Barcelona at 21:00. They are chasing seventh place, the final spot leading to European football via the UEFA Conference League.
