Valencia ratings as Ramazani and Hugo Duro shine in Sevilla win | OneFootball

Valencia produced one of their sharpest displays of the season at the Sánchez Pizjuán, with Largie Ramazani and Hugo Duro on the scoresheet as Carlos Corberán’s side moved to within three points of seventh, a position that could bring Europe at season’s end.

As reported by Superdeporte, Valencia controlled the first half, then managed the game smartly after the break to see it through.

Unai Núñez was decisive early on, blocking a shot from Vargas that looked destined for 1-0, and he stepped in for the move that led to the opener, finding Duro. Duro’s backheel released Ramazani, and from the ensuing phase the striker reacted to head in the rebound for his 10th LaLiga goal.

The second arrived after Duro sparked another attack. Álvaro García “Rioja” stayed upright under pressure, lifted his head and crossed to the far post for Ramazani to finish, the winger having pressed relentlessly throughout.

In midfield, Guido Rodríguez covered vast ground and dovetailed neatly with Javi Guerra, who picked the right moments to drive the team and defended solidly. André Almeida delivered one of his best outings of the campaign, tidying play and pressing without the ball.

At the back, Tárrega put his body on the line and Eray Cömert was composed. Captain José Gayà departed on 25 after two heavy head clashes with Juanlu Sánchez. Stole Dimitrievski showed leadership, had little to do and made no save of note, though he was booked.

From the bench, Jesús Vázquez impressed in his longest outing since 24 January. Lucas Beltrán grafted without impact in attack, Sadiq stretched play but was often isolated, and Diego López was scarcely involved.
