Valencia have registered Renzo Saravia in LaLiga, the 32-year-old right-back taking part in group drills at Paterna on Friday after almost two months out. Signed as an emergency replacement following Dimitri Foulquier’s injury, he could soon compete with Thierry Rendall for the role.

According to Superdeporte, Thierry Rendall and Diego López both completed the full session with the group.

Carlos Corberán also regains two options for rotation ahead of the crucial meeting with Osasuna. The Asturian will offer an alternative in attack, particularly with Lucas Beltrán having trained little this week.

Thierry is expected to start so that Unai Núñez can return to centre-back for an aerial battle with Budimir, leaving the pace on the flank to the Portuguese. He would likely be up against Víctor Muñoz or Raúl Moro.

Saravia is not expected to be named in a matchday squad for a couple of weeks, although Corberán is already working tactically with him alongside the group. He will wear shirt number 20, previously worn by Foulquier.
