The La Liga club have secured financing worth €322 million for the construction of the Nou Mestalla stadium.

The financing is one of the biggest transactions ever completed by a club in Spain.

The Mestalla Stadium, their current home venue, has a capacity of 49,430, but the new stadium will feature over 70,000 seats when it is opened in 2027.

It is expected to drive Valencia’s growth and unlock new revenue streams, thereby strengthening their competitiveness.

The project will not only transform the club but will also boost the local economy by creating jobs and attracting visitors.

Valencia are one of the most successful clubs in Spain, having won six La Liga titles, eight Copa del Rey titles and a Supercopa de Espana.

They also reached consecutive Champions League finals in 2000 and 2001, but lost on both occasions.

However, since winning the Copa del Rey and finishing fourth in La Liga in 2018/19, their form has dipped.

They narrowly escaped relegation in 2022/23, finishing just two points above the drop zone.

However, there have been positive signs since Carlos Corberan took over as manager in December last year.

Valencia were just four points from safety when Corberan arrived, but a series of excellent results helped them secure a 12th-place finish.
