Valencia send five senior players on duty during LaLiga’s extended international break | OneFootball

Valencia will send five senior internationals away during September and October’s extended break. According to Superdeporte, Stole Dimitrievski, Aliou Dieng and Ryunosuke Sato are joined at full level by academy pair Amos Wanjala with Kenya and Román Davis with Venezuela.

Dimitrievski faces a demanding Nations League window with North Macedonia, four matches in 11 days. The schedule runs 26 September against Switzerland, 29 September away to Slovenia, three October at home to Scotland and six October in Switzerland.

Dieng’s Mali have two AFCON qualifiers and a friendly. They meet Cape Verde on 25 September, visit Liberia on 29 September, then play Tunisia on three October.

Sato returns for Japan’s four-game stint, two friendlies then the Kirin Cup. Japan host Uruguay on 24 September and Venezuela on 28 September, face Ecuador on one October, then the winner of Panama or New Zealand on five October.

Academy centre-back Wanjala has been called by Kenya for AFCON 2027 qualifiers, a further step at senior level.

Right-back Davis joins Venezuela for an Asian tour of three friendlies, including the 28 September meeting with Japan. That fixture will pit Davis against Sato before both return to Valencia.
