Valencia working on Alberto Marí move as fit forward attracts LaLiga Hypermotion clubs | OneFootball

Alberto Marí has returned to full training with Valencia under Carlos Corberán after injury. The club are working on an exit for the forward.

According to Superdeporte, several LaLiga Hypermotion sides have shown interest in recent weeks and the plan is for him to leave this summer.

He is contracted until 2027, feels good on the pitch and is ready to return to competition. The decision now is to pick the right destination.

His breakthrough came in 2022/23 under Rubén Baraja, who leaned on the academy to secure survival. Alongside Diego López, Javi Guerra and Cristhian Mosquera, he took his chance at a decisive moment.

He impressed late that season, shining against Villarreal at Mestalla where a goal was ruled out. He then headed the winner at Balaídos against Celta, moving Valencia closer to safety.

He later had loans at Real Zaragoza and CD Mirandés. On 20 March he underwent surgery in Valencia to repair a biceps femoris injury in his left leg suffered with the Burgos club, and that problem is now behind him.
