Valencia yet to register any summer signings, including Dimitrievski

Valencia have yet to register any of their four summer signings in LaLiga. AS reports that De Haas, Dieng, Sato and Guido do not appear on the first-team list, and Stole Dimitrievski’s new contract has not been lodged, so for registration purposes only Cristian Rivero is listed as a first-team goalkeeper.

As of late afternoon on 21 July, the club had 17 registered players, those who stayed on beyond 30 June, with Baptiste Santamaría already departed. Dimitrievski is not included because his extension to 2028 is pending submission.

Clubs are delaying paperwork, which costs around 58,000 euros, to avoid breaching the squad cost limit later and to keep places free, although Valencia do not appear at risk on the first point this summer.

Valencia still face a numbers puzzle. To the 17 they must add the four reinforcements, the renewed Dimitrievski, loan returnees Sergi Canós, Alberto Marí and Iker Córdoba, plus academy player Rubo Iranzo. Córdoba and Sato could take B team status, which would trim the count to 24.

They intend to register Diego López once fit, while the club is considering a termination for Canós. Even with Córdoba and Sato as B team players and without Canós, 23 of the 25 senior places would be taken, and at least four more arrivals are sought, a goalkeeper, full-back, centre-back and winger. Foulquier is out until late September and Copete for longer, so Valencia are still working through registrations.
