Valencia returned to training after a Tuesday rest day with fitness doubts around Danjuma and Hugo Duro ahead of Sunday’s derby at the Ciutat de València.
According to Superdeporte, injured quartet Julen, Diakhaby, Iranzo and Foulquier missed the session, Danjuma did not work with the group and Hugo Duro withdrew shortly after starting.
The Dutchman had treatment on Tuesday for ongoing discomfort he has been carrying.
With Hugo Duro, the coaching staff could be trimming his workload so he can reach the clash in better condition.
Both Levante and Valencia are already preparing for a meeting that could prove a turning point for each side, with Levante improved since their coach’s arrival.
Corberán is under scrutiny and needs to win after three straight defeats across LaLiga and the Copa, having taken seven of the last 15 points available.
Three training days remain before the city showdown and, in principle, both Hugo Duro and Danjuma should be in the squad.
