Valverde downplayed the favourites tag before the derby, saying there are no favourites in such games.

According to El Correo, the coach confirmed Padilla will start in goal and that Berenguer is ruled out.

The first leg of the cup semi-final between Athletic and Real Sociedad takes place on Wednesday at San Mamés.

Valverde added that this match would not be decisive.
