Despite Feyenoord's struggles in Barcelona this evening, one special moment added a shine to the event.

The Dutch side trailed the LaLiga giants 3-0 heading into the final stages at the Camp Nou on a night where many anticipated the Spanish side to run riot.

Shortly after Raphinha's third for the hosts, Giovanni van Bronckhorst looked to his bench and decided now was the right time to give one player his special debut.

Shaqueel van Persie, son of Feyenoord and Netherlands icon Robin van Persie, came on for the final 30 minutes, making his first-ever Champions League appearance, 24 years after his father.

A special family moment, and 19-year-old Shaqueel will certainly hope to match his father's standards, as the former Arsenal striker notched 25 Champions League goals during his career.
