More Major League Soccer action continued on Sunday. Here is what went down across the league.

Vancouver run riot on James' Minnesota debut

A second demolition job was on the cards across Sunday's MLS action, with Jesper Sørensen's Vancouver Whitecaps dropping an Acme anvil on the head of visiting Minnesota United to the tune of a 6-0 drubbing at BC Place, continuing their hot start to the 2026 season.

It didn't take long for the Canadian side to get up and running on the day with what would be the first of two penalties, the first dispatched by midfield maestro and USMNT World Cup roster hopeful Sebastian Berhalter.

Fellow potential international colleague Bryan White doubled the lead just five minutes later, before Mathías Laborda put the result out of sight in the 23rd minute.

Emmanuel Sabbi would get in on the act, too, making it 4-0 two minutes before the half-time interval, with White going on to complete his brace with an effort from the spot in the 54th minute to add to the visiting Loons' woes on the day.

New Minnesota midfield star James Rodríguez would come on to make his debut for the final half-hour of play, but it would mean little as Vancouver bagged a sixth in the 75th minute, with Cheikh Sabaly opening his account for the club.

With that, the early race at the top of the Western Conference already makes for top-billing, with Vancouver now sitting level (4-0-0) alongside MLS Cup hopeful LAFC.

NER let goals fly past Cincinnati

It was one-way traffic at Gillette Stadium as the New England Revolution put six past Cincinnati in front of home fans. 

It was the visitors, however, who initially opened the scoring through Dado Valenzuela. The No. 22 was allowed to drive forward into space and remained composed enough to find the bottom right corner beyond Matt Turner.

But then it was all going the Revolution's way.

Brayan Ceballos headed the equalizer downwards for his first MLS goal before securing a brace with a second header. In between those strikes, Dor Turgeman scored a lunging header of his own as the game stood 3-1.

Coming out after the break, things turned worse for Cincy. Yusuf scored the fourth goal of the night and the fourth header for the hosts about 10 minutes after the restart. 

Then, goalscorer Valenzuela was shown a straight red card, leaving the visitors down a man, alongside being three goals behind. 

Two late efforts from Griffin Yow and Peyton Miller then turned the final screws (with the last goal arriving as a sniper into the top left corner), as New England registered their first win of the season. It's also the first time the club scored six.
