Derek McInnes has picked his Rangers lineup vs Hibernian for this afternoon’s Scottish Premiership encounter at Ibrox.

Fresh off a defeat in the Europa League on Thursday evening, McInnes will want to make sure there is no prospect of a hangover for the Gers.

The stakes are also raised on account of Rangers having dropped points in their Scottish Premiership opener against Dundee United, which finished in a draw.

McInnes has added winger Daisuke Yokota to the squad since the Tannadice game, but remains in the market for another winger to come in through the door.

Regardless of how incomplete the Rangers manager feels his squad might be though, in the interim he has to get wins to avoid losing ground quickly.

Hibernian also have reasons for regarding this afternoon’s encounter as a key game, no matter it coming early in the season.

They lost their opener, being turned over 2-1 by Motherwell, and back to back league losses to start the campaign would be a real blow.

McInnes has shaken his side up today, with a notable start for summer arrival Vanja Dragojevic.

In goal in McInnes’ Rangers lineup vs Hibernian this afternoon is Ivan Pandur, while ahead of him are Olwethu Makhanya, Emmanuel Fernandez and Tuur Rommens.

In the engine room, McInnes will want to see his team take a grip of the game and to get the job done he picks Vanja Dragojevic, Cammy Devlin and Nicolas Raskin, while Daisuke Yokota and Findlay Curtis support Lawrence Shankland and Youssef Chermiti.
