VAR audio on Yangel Herrera penalty reveals Figueroa Vázquez urging review

According to Diario Vasco, VAR audio from an incident involving Yangel Herrera captures the video assistant asking César Soto Grado to review a possible penalty.

From the VOR room, Figueroa Vázquez is heard recommending that the referee come to the monitor to look at a potential spot-kick.

At the same time, Iñaki can be heard shouting that there had been a foul in that area.

The recording also includes a line stating that the player was about to finish the move and that a penalty would be given.

The VAR alert prompted an on-field review of the action.
