Vasco 1-2 Corinthians sets 2025 Brazilian football revenue record at Maracanã

Vasco 1-2 Corinthians at the Maracanã secured the Copa do Brasil title for Corinthians. According to Globo.com, the game generated R$ 13.2 million in gross gate receipts, the highest matchday revenue in Brazilian football in 2025.

The previous record was set at the Supercopa do Brasil final, where Flamengo beat Botafogo 3-1, raising R$ 9.7 million.

Paid attendance reached 62.4 thousand at the Maracanã, the biggest of this Copa do Brasil. It surpassed the 61.9 thousand for Vasco 2-1 Fluminense in the semi-final.

Total crowd was 67.1 thousand, short of the competition record. That benchmark remains Fluminense 1-0 Vasco with 67,560 in attendance.

The result confirmed Corinthians as four-time winners of the competition.
