Vasco agree deal to sign Brenner from Udinese

Vasco have completed a deal to sign Brenner from Udinese, with the 26-year-old set to sign a contract until 2029 and due in Rio at the end of the week.

According to Globo.com, the club settled the final details with the forward’s representatives on Wednesday morning.

Vasco will pay five million euros, R$ 31 million at current rates, to Udinese, with the fee to be paid in instalments over about three years.

The Brazilian was a request from Fernando Diniz, who wanted a more mobile attacker for his system. The pair previously worked together at Fluminense and São Paulo and will now reunite.

Brenner scored six goals and provided one assist in 10 matches for FC Cincinatti in the United States, where he spent the end of last year on loan.
