Vasco have agreed the transfer of Maxime Domínguez to Poland’s KS Cracovia. The club said in a statement that the deal was done and wished the midfielder success in his future endeavours.

The Swiss playmaker was assessed by Fernando Diniz during pre-season but is not part of the coaching staff and football department’s plans.

The offer from Cracovia was viewed positively by all parties.

Domínguez had been on loan since last year at Toronto FC, who compete in Major League Soccer in the United States.

He made 15 appearances, scoring one goal and registering one assist in that period.

He bade farewell to Vasco in the match against Nova Iguaçu on 18 January, playing the entire second half.
