Vasco agree pre-contract for América-MG left-back Paulinho

Vasco have agreed a pre-contract with América-MG left-back Paulinho, 21. According to Globo.com, he will join as a free agent in the second half of the year once his current deal expires in June.

An América-MG academy graduate, the defender came through the ranks at the Minas Gerais club.

He made 26 senior appearances last season and has featured four times in 2026.

The Rio club had been tracking his situation since last year.

With contract renewal talks at América-MG not progressing, Vasco stepped in and offered higher wages.
