Vasco da Gama are stepping up their push for Moreirense right-back Dinis Pinto, preparing a €2.5m bid after an opening €1.5m offer was turned down.

According to Agência RTI Esporte, the club view the 26-year-old as a priority target and hope the increased proposal can sway the Portuguese side in the coming days.

Head coach Fernando Diniz has approved the move, seeing the defender as an ideal fit for his system. The hierarchy regard him as a market opportunity offering immediate impact and resale potential.

First-choice at Moreirense, sixth in the Portuguese league, he has six assists in 17 games this season. He leads right-backs for assists in the competition, standing out for his crossing and work in the final third.

Under contract until June 2027, the player is open to a move to Brazil. Vasco await Moreirense’s formal response before progressing to paperwork and potentially confirming another international addition for 2026.
