Vasco have closed the international window with six additions and an outlay of about R$ 110 million, not settled at once. According to Globo.com, the tally also includes deals for players already in the squad.
The arrivals are Johan Rojas, Alan Saldivia, Cuiabano, Brenner, Marino Hinestroza and Claudio Spinelli. The domestic window runs to 27 March and covers only players who featured in state championships.
Vasco routinely spread fees over years, with payments for Brenner and Marino Hinestroza scheduled through 2028.
The outlay nears the 777 era, the former SAF backer. The club had windows of R$ 116.4 million in early 2023 and R$ 117 million two years ago.
In this first 2026 window, Alan Saldivia cost US$ 1.2 million, R$ 6.3 million, Marino Hinestroza US$ 5 million, R$ 26.4 million, Brenner €5 million, R$ 30.5 million, and Spinelli US$ 2 million, R$ 10.5 million. Rojas and Cuiabano joined on loan.
Andres Gómez and Carlos Cuesta were signed last year while on loan. Gómez has now been bought from Rennes for €4.5 million, R$ 27.5 million, and Cuesta’s loan with Galatasaray, of Türkiye, has been renewed until the end of the year at €1.5 million, R$ 9.1 million.
