Vasco da Gama forward Adson has posted an encouraging training video five months after fracturing his right tibia, offering relief to supporters. The forward has not featured since mid-year.
According to PaponaColina, the footage surfaced on Thursday 18 at São Januário and shows him back working, suggesting the final phase of his recovery is well advanced.
The injury occurred in July 2025 during a training challenge at CT Moacyr Barbosa, when he suffered a fracture of the right tibia. It was a major setback, particularly as the same area sustained a stress fracture in 2024 that required surgery and seven months out.
The situation was complicated by the recurrence in the same region, though his physical response since has appeared excellent.
Vasco have yet to set an official date for his return. Seeing Adson train with intensity raises hope he could still contribute in the run-in, or, more likely, be primed to start 2026 strongly.
