Léo Jardim was steady and made a superb save to deny Yuri Alberto on a move with an offside call in the build-up. At right-back Paulo Henrique struggled on the ball and in duels. Carlos Cuesta overcame an early stray pass to settle, and Robert Renan, booked early, remained composed and solid in the build-up.

Puma Rodríguez defended diligently but failed to finish a chance he created. Barros dominated out of possession, shut down space and struck the post with a header. Thiago Mendes distributed well and imposed himself physically.

Philippe Coutinho orchestrated a fine first half but faded after the interval. Rayan had a goal ruled out for offside and tired late on. Andrés Gómez was a constant menace and the visitors’ most dangerous outlet.

Nuno Moreira impressed before tiring, while late substitute Vegetti barely had a touch. Matheus França came on at the end and was not graded. Fernando Diniz earned 7.0, his side nullified Corinthians and could have won, which the report called Vasco’s best display at the ground.
