Lawyer Samantha Mendes Longo has resigned as court-appointed administrator of Vasco’s SAF only six days after taking the role, citing a serious issue concerning her personal safety in a filed petition.

Atenção, Vascaínos reports that, despite stepping down, she delivered a technical report covering her first days of work and meetings within the Vasco SAF.

Her resignation came on the same day members of organised Vasco supporter groups went to the building where the SAF office is based in Rio’s West Zone. They posted a video saying she was not found there.

In the report, Samantha urged the immediate start of mediation between CRVG, 777 and potential SAF buyers, aiming to seek an end to the litigation among the parties.

Judge Caroline Fonseca of Rio de Janeiro’s Fourth Business Court had appointed Samantha for two months to restore governance processes, transparency, accounting and information flow at the company, with reports due every 15 days.

Separately, Pedrinho and two other members of the Vasco SAF council were removed from their positions by the same court, following a request from 777 Carioca and based on findings by the SAF Fiscal Council.
