Vasco are pursuing a right-sided winger with greater finishing to lift a misfiring attack, with Yeboah under consideration.

Globo.com reports that Andrés Gómez, Nuno Moreira, Adson, David and Marino Hinestroza are the current wide options, yet the club want another after failing to adequately replace Rayan.

Last season’s front line featured Vegetti, Rayan and Philippe Coutinho, but all three left in the first two months of 2026. Only Gómez remained, producing eight goal contributions, while Moreira has five and Hinestroza is still without a goal involvement at São Januário.

David, Rojas and Adson have been tried out wide without nailing down places, and even Brenner has featured there. Strengthening that role is a priority this window.

Yeboah started for Ecuador at the last World Cup, where they went out to Mexico in the second phase. He did not score but hit the woodwork twice, including against Mexico and Côte d’Ivoire.

The forward impressed for Venezia in Serie B last season with 12 goals and 10 assists in 36 matches, helping secure promotion. According to ogol, he led the division for dribbles and shots per game.

The main hurdle is his camp’s preference to keep him in Europe, and his value has risen after both the promotion campaign and the World Cup.
