Vasco have outlined plans for their loanees, aiming to keep four and reassessing Matheus França’s future beyond June.

According to Globo.com, França is the only loanee without a purchase clause and his deal runs to the end of June. The club are not expected to ask Crystal Palace to extend it after he arrived in August last year and struggled to adapt.

Vasco want to retain Cuiabano, Robert Renan, Carlos Cuesta and Johan Rojas, and are working through their options to buy.

Renan is on loan from Zenit until mid-year, with a possible extension to the end of 2026. A permanent switch is priced at 8 million euros, due by the end of the current loan or by November if the loan is extended.

Cuiabano is on loan until the end of 2026, with Nottingham Forest’s option set at 10 million euros. Triggering it would keep the full-back until December 2030.

Rojas is borrowed from Monterrey to year end, with a buy option around US$ 3.5 million. He is well regarded, has adapted quickly to Brazilian football, and now wears number 10 after Coutinho’s departure.

Cuesta’s loan runs to the end of 2026 after Vasco activated an extension with Galatasaray for 1.5 million euros, and there is a 5.75 million euros option to buy. He has yet to play under Renato Gaúcho due to right knee pain.

In January Vasco completed Andrés Gómez’s permanent transfer, paying a little over 4.5 million euros for 60 percent of his rights.
