Vasco Sousa has detailed a gruelling rehabilitation after a serious setback while playing for Moreirense on loan from FC Porto.

In a social media post, the midfielder said he has questioned why and how this happened, yet insisted his strength, desire and fighting spirit will keep him going. He said he would show himself again, to win, to surpass himself and to keep faith, adding that he knows he will succeed because he will not be alone in the battles ahead.
