Vasco face Flamengo on Sunday in the Clássico dos Milhões, and will be without three players while several players are one booking from suspension.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Cuiabano, Jair and Mateus Carvalho are ruled out and are in the club’s medical department.

Thiago Mendes, Rojas, Cuiabano, Tchê Tchê and Paulo Henrique are on two yellow cards, so must tread carefully to avoid missing the next match.

Vasco head into the derby with renewed confidence after a 3-0 midweek win over Olímpia (PAR) in the Copa Sudamericana under coach Renato Portaluppi.

That result followed a league defeat to Corinthians, which the win helped to put behind them.

Kick-off against Flamengo is at 16:00 Brasília time on Sunday 3 May at the Maracanã, in the 14th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
