Vasco's women's team take a 3-1 first-leg advantage into Sunday's Brasileiro Feminino Série A2 final at São Januário, and are turning that momentum into independent sponsorships.

They face Itabirito and can even lose by one goal and still be crowned champions. The side are unbeaten with 18 wins in 20, and promotion to next year's top flight is already sealed. According to Globo.com, the club is leveraging the moment to secure commercial agreements, some exclusive to the women's team and separate from the men's.

Most commercial inventory tied to the team is now taken, with six sponsors on board. The standout deal is with Guaraná Antarctica, which partners only with Vasco's women's side, agreed at the end of August.

Speaking at the sponsor's unveiling, business and marketing director João Vitor Assunção said 2026 marks a key milestone, with a dedicated commercial project filling almost every kit space and attracting partners who see the category's growth potential. He added that, ahead of a Women's World Cup in Brazil, linking relevant brands to an asset mixing performance, fan engagement and a winning history is boosting investment and reinforcing the club's commitment to sustainable development of the women's game.

The team returned to play at São Januário this season, with several decisive fixtures in the campaign staged there alongside the final. During the year, players received club-produced material recounting the team's history, including a message from Marta, who helped its creation at the Rio club.
