After anger at being taken off on Sunday, Vegetti delivered the decisive last-minute header as Vasco beat Fluminense 2-1 in the Copa do Brasil semi-final first leg at the Maracanã.

Diniz highlighted his daily commitment, leadership and influence around training and team talks, describing him as fundamental and saying their relationship is excellent, even when he plays less.
