Pedro Sánchez, a vocal critic of US President Donald Trump, will attend Sunday’s World Cup final near New York, his office said on Friday. France’s third-place play-off against England will be overseen by a Venezuelan referee.

The play-off kicks off at 23:00. It will be Didier Deschamps’ final match as France head coach.
