The Blues won the game 4-0 in what was a much needed convincing performance, with goals coming from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella.

EXCLUSIVE! The Goalkeeper Chelsea were very close to signing over Robert Sanchez – fans would have much preferred this!

The Saints were a very poor opposition of course, but Chelsea really needed a big win and a big performance, and that is exactly what they did last night right in the nick of time as they look to keep challenging for that all important Champions League spot.

Neto was superb playing as the number 9 and as well as getting his goal, he has explained why he loves playing as a striker with a hilarious answer!

Cucurella has been speaking to the media ahead of Chelsea’s next game against Copenhagen in the Conference League tonight.

The left back was asked about Sanchez and Jorgensen in his interview.

On Sanchez, he said:

“It’s difficult because before I suffered a bit like Robert. He’s okay. The most important thing is he wins confidence again. I stayed with him in Brighton and the national team, I know his skills. He’s human, he can have good and bad moments. It’s about how he reacts in these bad moments. He has the confidence to do it.”

And then he was asked about Jorgensen:

“A really good keeper. I know from Spain, I watch La Liga. He’s very good with his feet. I love having Filip in the team. Hopefully he can help us for the rest of the season.”
