Two of his three goals came from the penalty spot, with both spot kicks won by Joao Pedro, who despite not scoring put in another impressive performance.

The third goal was a really nice team move which involved Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella, before Palmer swept it into the back of the net.

Rosenior admitted after the game he particularly enjoyed that goal, and explained why it was so “pleasing” for him to watch.

“Yeah, that goal. Starts with Rob,” he told his post match press-conference.

“We bounce through, make an overload in the middle of the pitch. We use the overload on the two vs one on the other side, cut back, Cole scores a goal.

“It was a very, very pleasing goal and hopefully I’d like any goals, but that’s the type of football that we want to play. I want to play, and it was a really, really great finish.”

Chelsea make it four league wins in a row

Rosenior continued his good start to life at Stamford Bridge, and the Blues have now recorded four league wins in a row.
