Vic Albuquerque has marked her 250th Corinthians appearance with a club tribute she shared on social media. The player said in a post that she had been recognised by the club.
The milestone was reached in the win over Gotham FC of the United States at the Club World Cup at the start of the year.
In the post, the number 17 displayed a metal plaque praising her dedication, talent and courage across her time with Corinthians. She wrote that this is her life project, built on love and hard work. She said her dedication has never been lacking and never will, and she thanked the club.
Now on 254 appearances, she ranks fourth among the Brabas. She is two games behind Paulinha in second and four off Grazi, the club’s appearance leader. Gabi Zanotti, one ahead of Vic and still active, is expected to be the next leader.
She also recently reached 200 wins, achieved against Atlético-MG in the opening round of the Brasileiro. Vic is Corinthians’ all-time top scorer with 122 goals and has 18 trophies across eight seasons.
With Vic available, Corinthians return on 13 March after the FIFA window. They visit Palmeiras at Arena Barueri at 21:30 in the third round of the Brasileiro.
