Vic Albuquerque made her 250th Corinthians appearance in Wednesday’s match against Gotham FC, which also delivered the women’s side’s first Club World Cup win, and the club marked the milestone on social media.
According to Meu Timao, the post hailed 250 games representing the black and white shirt with grit, commitment and dedication.
The club’s all-time leading scorer came on for Jaqueline at 44 minutes of the second half, leaving little time to influence the contest. She will have a chance to make a difference on Sunday against Arsenal of England in the Copa das Campeãs final.
Vic Albuquerque joined Corinthians in 2019 from Audax at 21. Over her first three seasons she averaged around 0.5 goals per game. She left at the end of 2021 for Madrid CFF in Spain, then returned after one semester to rejoin the Brabas.
She now sits behind Gabi Zanotti, Paulinha, who left at the end of last year after her contract was not renewed, and Grazi, retired since 2023, on the club’s all-time appearances list.
