AS reports that Víctor de Aldama is exploring a return to football, though not at Zamora CF. It comes nearly two years after he sold the club amid a legal case that left its accounts frozen.

Aldama led Zamora CF for six years, from 2018 to 2024. He arrived with the first team in Tercera División and debt of about 350,000 euros, and sold after promotion to Primera RFEF via a play-off settled in San Sebastián de los Reyes.

In June 2024 he decided to transfer the club because his personal judicial situation was affecting operations. He agreed a sale to Grupo Páez so the team could continue.

In a farewell note he called the club his family, appealed to his presumption of innocence and said the turmoil had devastated his life. He also highlighted the rise from Tercera to Primera RFEF. Visiting Ruta de la Plata in December 2025, he admitted daily regret over the sale.

He is understood to be assessing a new sporting project. Few details have emerged, and it is not linked to Zamora CF. In this delicate period, he has indicated he needs that return.
