Victor Froholdt lost consciousness after a heavy collision with Liberato during Porto’s match against Moreirense at Estádio do Dragão, and was taken off on a stretcher.
According to O Jogo, the incident occurred with the score at 2-1. Team-mates and opponents quickly surrounded the Danish midfielder as medical staff attended.

After a VAR review, Liberato was shown a red card.
The Moreirense player appeared distraught, praying and in tears on the turf, and was comforted by opposition players.
Under the new protocol, Porto were allowed a sixth substitution, with Seko Fofana replacing Froholdt.
