According to L'ÉEquipe, Liverpool winger Victor Munoz continued to work away from the main group on Wednesday, two days before Spain face Uruguay in Guadalajara in the World Cup group stage.
The match is Spain’s third of the group and is set for the night from Friday to Saturday, at two am in France.
Munoz, a former Osasuna player, suffered a muscle injury late in the season and had a relapse last week. He only joined team-mates for the warm-up, then departed before the toros.
La Roja’s warm-up this time was done on mats, then using large stretching bands. The previous day, PSG midfielder Fabian Ruiz put on the gloves to try goalkeeping for a few minutes, with uncertain success.
Spain travel on Wednesday, with first place in the group at stake against La Celeste. Luis de la Fuente’s side need only a draw.
