Just hours before the Champions League showdown against Juventus, Victor Osimhen spoke out and held nothing back.
First, the Nigerian striker from Galatasaray condemned the treatment he received in Naples:
They sent me to play everywhere, they treated me like a dog. I'm not a puppet.
Despite these tensions, Osimhen keeps fond memories of his former coach Luciano Spalletti, whom he describes as a mentor:
He pushed us to be the best, led us to win a Scudetto, and helped us grow as men and as footballers.
The player also reflected on his transfer to Istanbul:
Juventus was interested in me before Galatasaray, but I chose this club and this city that I love. As soon as you arrive in Istanbul, you understand why players fall in love with this club and its supporters.
Finally, Osimhen is already looking ahead to the match:
This will be a real test. Against a great club like Juventus, the smallest mistake can be costly.
