The on-loan Galatasaray striker spoke after his starring role in Tottenham win
Victor Osimhen has ruled out a move to Chelsea in the January transfer window, vowing to stay with Galatasaray until the end of the season.
The Nigerian striker moved on loan to the Turkish giants from Napoli after a summer in which he was linked with the Blues, as well as several other Premier League clubs.
He has since scored six goals in eight games for his new side, including two in Thursday’s 3-2 victory over Tottenham in the Europa League.
It has been reported a break clause was inserted into his loan agreement with Galatasaray, but the 25-year-old has rubbished speculation he could depart Istanbul when the window reopens.
“I’m here as a Galatasaray player, I’m happy here. Since I came the Galatasaray fans, the club, I saw how big a family this club is. The way they have treated me and my family in a wonderful manner. It’s important to be able to give them my all on the pitch” he said after the win against Ange Postecoglou’s side.
‘I’ve seen a lot of the speculation linking me out of the club in January, I can state through me now I’m going to be here until the end of the season.”
