Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali says that he hopes there isn’t long to go before an agreement is struck with Paris Saint-Germain for centre-forward Randal Kolo Muani following weeks of negotiations between the two sides.

With less than a month to go before the start of the 2026-27 Serie A season, Juventus have still not brought in the new centre-forward that head coach Luciano Spalletti has been targeting.

The Old Lady bid farewell to Dusan Vlahovic upon the expiry of his contract on June 30, and though reports claim that the two parties have remained in contact over a potential extension, the club have also been evaluating alternative profiles elsewhere.

Among the names to be linked with a move to Juventus this summer is Kolo Muani, who scored eight goals from 16 Serie A appearances while on loan in Turin during the second half of the 2024-25 campaign.

According to reports earlier this week, Juventus have sent a new and improved offer for Kolo Muani to PSG, consisting of a season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy for €40m plus add-ons. It has also been suggested that the bonuses that Juventus have included take the potential value of the transfer close to the €50m mark that PSG have been requesting.

Now, speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Juventus CEO Carnevali said that he hopes there is not a long way to go before a deal with PSG is closed.

“I hope not a lot,” was Carnevali’s response when asked what is missing before a deal is concluded.
