It’s a cruise at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea now. The Blues have added a third goal before half time.

The first two efforts were really from defensive mistakes. This one was far nicer. Malo Gusto had inverted from full back and he played a lovely outside of the foot layoff to Joao Pedro, who took it and drove forward before playing the Frenchman in.

Gusto’s shot was pushed away, but only went as far to Cole Palmer, whose shot was going wide but deflected back on target and in off a Port Vale defender.

In other news…

Andrey Santos’ lofted ball caught out the defence for the Blues’ second, which Joao Pedro finished nicely.

The first goal came from Jorrel Hato, who picked up a loose ball dropping from a corner and lashed it in after just a minute.
