Ademola Lookman could not help but laugh at the crazed shouts of the photographers on the red carpet before the start of the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony on Monday evening.

The Nigeria star, who scored an historic hat-trick during Atalanta’s 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final back in May, finished in 14th place in the final Ballon d’Or rankings.

He decided to attend the ceremony, unlike some of the Real Madrid candidates, and was asked to pose in front of photographers on the red carpet.

After standing still for a few moments, the 26-year-old could not help but burst into laughter after hearing some of the crazy shouts from the photographers trying to get his attention.

Lookman is one of five Serie A players who were nominated for the 2024 prize. Artem Dovbyk and Mats Hummels of Roma finished in joint 29th, Hakan Calhanoglu of Inter finished in 20th, while Lautaro Martinez is now guaranteed to finish in the top 10.
