Sunderland produced sensational turnaround to beat Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge handing the hosts painful home defeat in Premier League matchweek 9.
The game began perfectly for Chelsea when Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring inside four minutes calmly finishing from close range to give the Blues early control.
But the visitors responded with resilience. In the 22 minute, French forward Wilson Isidor levelled for Sunderland with composed finish after flowing counterattack.
As Chelsea pushed for winner, the newly promoted side struck late and decisively. Deep into stoppage time (90+3’), Moroccan striker Chemsdine Talbi fired home from the edge of the box to complete stunning comeback and silence the home crowd.
The victory lifts Sunderland to 17 point moving them up to 2nd place in the Premier League table while Chelsea remain stuck on 14 point in 7th , a result that heaps further pressure on their campaign.
