It’s half time in Chelsea’s game against Tottenham Hotspur, and the Blues are ahead, deservedly so.
Tottenham were disrupted by the departure of Lucas Bergvall with a concussion just a few minutes in, and Enzo Maresca’s men seized the chance and took control of the game.

Rodrigo Bentancur fouls Reece James but only gets a yellow, leading to tension.
Things did start to get a little feisty as the tension rose towards the end of the half. Rodrigo Bentancur put in a nasty tackle on Reece James but was given only a yellow. That caused a little bit of a scuffle and got the home crowd back into it.
As the players went off, James decided to do something interesting – he gathered all the Chelsea players into one group so they didn’t have to face the fans around the tunnel one by one.
You can see the players walking off in the video from Kieran Gill embedded here:
“Something new. Reece James didn’t seem to want Chelsea’s players walking down the tunnel individually at the half-time whistle,” Gill Tweeted.
“He called them all in to him so they could walk in together.”
The second half will be very interesting – Tottenham have to improve, and Chelsea need to stop the crowd getting behind their opposition. The best way to do that is keep the ball well – and score another goal.
The Blues are ahead in the game because of Joao Pedro’s goal, which was created by some superb play from Moises Caicedo, who won 3 challenges to get the ball into Spurs’ box.
There’s loads of good stuff in this interview about Estevao’s early years. There’s a story about how he had to be taken off midway through games to keep other parents happy.
