According to Mundo Deportivo, Messi confronted Venezuelan midfielder Tomas Rincon in the tunnel at half time. The Argentine questioned him over their on field altercation before giving him slight shove.

Players & staff from both sides quickly intervened with Salomon Rondon stepping in to calm Messi down.
