Signed from West Brom as a 16-year-old, the attacking midfielder made his Premier League debut in December and has featured only five times for Villa.

Before heading out on loan to the Baggies for the second half of the season, he came off the bench in January to score in a 3-2 win over Red Bull Salzburg. The result secured second place in the league phase.

While Villa mapped their route to the final, he was in the Championship on loan. Many supporters credit that contribution with shaping their European run.

He may not be part of Unai Emery's squad in Türkiye for the showpiece, yet he is being celebrated by Villa's travelling support.
