Villarreal’s Logan Costa attracting Premier League interest | OneFootball

Logan Costa’s (24) first season in La Liga has been a highly successful one. The Cape Verde international has played an impressive 35 gams in all competitions, including 32 in La Liga. He hs helped the club qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League, however, as per French media Foot Mercato, there is no guarantee that he will stick around to participate in their European campaign.

The former France youth international joined from Toulouse for a substantial €18m fee last summer and quickly established himself as a starting defender at Villarreal. His performances have caught the eyes of three unnamed Premier League clubs, according to Foot Mercato. One of them is a team that finished in the top half of the table this season.

Costa himself is happy at Villarreal and is seduced by the idea of competing in the Champions League with the Spanish side. Naturally, Villarreal aren’t keen on parting ways with the centre-back either.
