André Villas-Boas left a message for Rui Costa while receiving an award at the Portugal Football Globes; the president of FC Porto was recognized for his commitment to and promotion of women's football:

«Good evening everyone. Good evening, Mr. President of the FPF, I personally thank you for this award. It should not be me receiving this prize, but rather the heroines. These are the first steps, we want to reach the Premier League and offer Rui Costa a more serious competition. This is our role in society and in sports. They are the ones who help us rise, who lend a hand, at various moments in our lives. Thank you to all», stated the president of FC Porto.
