LFP president Vincent Labrune was absent from the Trophée des champions at Bollaert on Sunday, as Lens beat PSG 1-0.
As the podium ceremony began, the stadium announcer said the medals would be handed out by Arnaud Rouger, the LFP's chief executive, not by Labrune, according to L'Équipe.

No reason was given for the president's absence.
Labrune has notably had a stormy relationship with RC Lens owner Joseph Oughourlian.
On 21 July, Oughourlian heavily criticised the LFP's management.
