Vincent Sierro signs for Parma on one-year contract after leaving Al-Shabab | OneFootball

Vincent Sierro has signed for Parma on a one-year contract after leaving Al-Shabab as a free agent, according to L'Équipe.

The 30-year-old Swiss international midfielder, capped 14 times and a former Toulouse captain, completed the move on Friday.

He now switches to Serie A after previous spells in the Swiss Super League, the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and the Saudi Pro League. He played for Toulouse between 2023 and 2025.

Sierro had interest from French clubs but chose Parma, coached by 31-year-old Spaniard Carlos Cuesta, formerly an assistant to Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.

The deal offers him a platform in Serie A to regain top level and push for a Switzerland recall. He missed the World Cup this summer but featured at Euro 2024.
