During Thursday's press conference, Blues coach Liam Rosenior responded to the racism controversy involving Vinicius at Benfica.

Speaking to the media, Liam Rosenior addressed the case involving Gianluca Prestianni and Vinicius Jr following the first-leg playoff of the Champions League between Benfica and Real Madrid (0-1). The Chelsea manager delivered a firm message against any form of racism.

"Any form of racism in society, let alone in football, is unacceptable. It's unacceptable. I can't comment on an incident that is currently under investigation. When you see a player as upset as Vinicius was, it's usually for a good reason.", the coach responded.

"I've been the target of racist abuse myself. If a player, coach or manager is found guilty of racism, they have no place in football. For me, it's as simple as that.", he added.
